The kid actually cleaned up his life over the last couple years. All the reports from the Bengals, biased source that they may be, were that the 2nd (3rd? 7th?) chance that Mike Brown gave him was the one that finally sunk in and that he had matured a lot over the last couple years.

Involuntary manslaughter at worst.

We have no idea how things went down... But I can bet you Chris wasn't acting in the most calm manner to be jumping in the bed of the truck and her trying to get away.

For all we know he could have been banging on the back window saying he was gonna kill her.

If there are witnesses that can state the truck was driving erratically (trying to throw him), she could get booked with Aggravated Vehicular Manslaughter, or at least threatened with it as a first threat in a plea bargain kind of deal. Doubt it would stick though, with the likely self defense angle combined with being under "emotional distress".
