Highlights -
Another poor defensive showing.
Chad Johnson may be lost for a game or more. Carted off the field as a precautionary measure. Movement in his extremities, but a big hit lead to to this.
As for the prospects for the rest of the season.
After the Patriots game I hoped for this.
Which is now subject to downward revision.
Where do those 5 wins come from?
at Kansas City (ACTUAL) L
NY Jets (ACTUAL) W
Pittsburgh (ACTUAL) Loss
at Buffalo [strike]probable Win[/strike] - ACTUAL LOSS
at Baltimore Loss
Arizona Probable Loss
Tennessee Loss
at Pittsburgh Loss
St. Louis Probable Win
at San Francisco [strike]Loss[/strike] - Possible Win
Cleveland Probable (though not definite) Win
at Miami Probable Win
Which STILL leaves them at 6-10 end of season.
Now 2-6 at the mid-point of the season.
How much will Henry be able to help once he returns?
Hope springs eternal .. should I just say the Bengals are playing for the number 5 pick and give up that 5th win - maybeBig Papa;984181; said:Probable win against Cleveland?? Come on now. Anderson is even better now than he was when he dismantled the Bungles D in Cleveland. Although Cinci might get lucky and Cleveland could have locked up a playoff spot by then and you'll be playing against backups.
Interestingly, the first insertion of the "If it's Brown Flush it Down" allusion comes from a pool of Pentagon IP addresses.tibor75;985081; said:Some disgruntled Bengal fan was having fun...

Cornerback Johnathan Joseph, right, was burned by the Bills' Lee Evans on three plays during Buffalo's opening possession, the last going for a touchdown.
CINCINNATI -- Bengals cornerback John-athan Joseph is searching for answers while playing a position that's unforgiving even for those on top of their games.
Think about it. World-class athletes are sprinting at you. You are on your heels, backpedaling. The receiver knows where he's going. You can react only to what he does. You must maintain the precarious balance between patience and aggressiveness. One false or late step can spell disaster. Even the best sometimes get beaten.

Bengals receiver Chad Johnson practiced yesterday after he was carried off the field with a neck injury Sunday.
Cincinnati Bengals receiver Chad Johnson is likely to play Sunday, a week after he was taken off the field on a gurney because of a neck injury.
Johnson participated fully in practice yesterday for the first time this week. He was listed as probable on the injury report.
Johnson practiced some Wednesday and did not practice Thursday. The past few weeks, he has tended to skip Thursday practices to rest a tender ankle.

CINCINNATI -- The frustration is mounting, and answers are elusive.
The Bengals' running game has faltered anew, just when it seemed the problem had been alleviated.
"If I knew, I'd be going upstairs telling them what it was so we could get it fixed," left tackle Levi Jones said.

Leon Hall says Michigan will beat Ohio State by "about 20 points."
CINCINNATI -- Against the Pittsburgh Steelers three weeks ago, Hines Ward beat Leon Hall with a double move for a touchdown.
Buffalo tried a similar route with the speedy Lee Evans against the Bengals' rookie cornerback two weeks ago. This time, Hall didn't bite on the fake and made the interception.

Let's be honest. Today's Bengals-Arizona Cardinals matchup in Paul Brown Stadium isn't one to quicken the pulse.
These are two sub-.500 teams with mostly sorry long-term histories. But while this is hardly a marquee matchup overall, one duel within the game should be fun to watch. The Bengals and Cardinals have two of the best wide-receiver units in the NFL.
"It'll probably be the prettiest group of wide receivers you'll see on both sides of the football that you'll see in the NFL," Bengals coach Marvin Lewis said. "We need our guys to come out and be the best group."

Quarterback Carson Palmer, left, looks at the scoreboard with receiver Chris Henry in the second half of a 35-27 loss to Arizona.
CINCINNATI -- T.J. Houshmandzadeh stood at his locker Sunday after a 35-27 loss to Arizona and was tempted to use the same line he has used so often.
Then he stopped himself from saying the Bengals lost despite being more talented than the team that had just beaten them.
"Talent alone doesn't win games," Houshmandzadeh said. "Or maybe we don't have as much talent as people think we do."
