Knew a guy that was in a similar situation. He was at his buddies, drinking, and planned on spending the night. I forget the exact emergency (not labor, but I remember if was something legit), but his wife called and he drove home. Got pulled over as he was turning into his sub. Judge didn't care, and because he had a prior the judge sent him to jail (a really old one for something that was not exactly drunk driving...an old slap on the wrist thing before the huge DD crackdown). Most judges don't care about emergencies.

Oh yeah, the judge also read him the riot act for being out drinking at a friends when he was married and should have been at home, even though his wife was totally cool about it. Guess the gender of the judge.

I really, really like the Bengals draft-they upgraded at every position they had a huge need at, and got excellent value for every pick they made. If Marvin can get Michael Johnson in gear, the Bengals will have a beast at DE. ReyRey is a tasmanian devil on the field-he might be a little aggressive for a Mike, but Rivers can help clean up anything he overruns, they are a good fit together, as we saw at USC.

Not that it makes it okay but they are reporting that Hall is pleading not guilty to the charge.

Seems that he was at a party. His wife went into labor and called him, and he left to get to the hospital. Not a great choice, but better than some other choices people both on this team and around the league have made.

or you could just not go out drinking at a party knowing that your wife could go into labor at any minute? Or go to the party and not drink knowing your wife could go into labor at any minute? Its not like the wife going into labor thing catches you completely by suprise. You have about 9 months to get ready for it.

We'll have to ask Gator but I don't think being a dumbfuck is legal grounds for getting a not guilty verdict here.

Wait..wait...wait.

I'm all for bashing a TSUN and Bengal...because I fucking hate the Bengals. Never have liked them to be honest. (Go Cards!)...but not drink because his wife might have a kid? Crazy talk.

:slappy: your right, I forget my audience sometimes.

What I meant to say was, Hall got busted because he went to scUM, was drafted by the Bengals and well....obviously God fucking hates him.

I don't think Tim Tebow hates anyone, actually. If Tebow hates a football player, that would probably mean that something bad happened while Tebow was on the field. We all know that isn't possible.

Agree. The Bengals are getting praise for this draft overall. Couple of places have given them A's although as most people know you dont really know how good a draft was till 3-4 years down the road.
