Plus from what I read of that McNulty case, it was a pretty odd one. The girl was bragging about getting with Ben, then decided to file a suit out of nowhere.

No doubt he puts himself in bad positions and he may certainly be a douchebag, but I just find 4-6 games excessive based on just that.

Based on the precedent RG has set he has to come down with a suspension somewhere along those lines. I'm a Steeler fan and I hope they trade the piece of shit now to tell the truth but that's been my belief on the suspension all along.

One of these days it's going to sink in these extra large and thick players skulls that this commissioner is not one with whom they want to fuck. They don't have to be choir boys but he's clearly intent on making serial off field stupidity a very painful vice.

2 public rape allegations. He likely paid this chick off. The third chick was in the 572 page investigation. Another Milledgeville girl went to the police with sexual assault allegations, but similar to this current scenario, her father pressured her to drop any investigation. Almost identical scenario to this case.

So 3 rape/sexual assault allegations, a likely suit in this one, and maybe a second settled case that never made it to the media. And he still has the civil case against him. The guy is out of control. 3 rape cases tends to be a trend not bad luck....

Suspension

It's official now..Ben Rape-lisberger will be suspended 6 games with the possibility of having it reduced to 4 games..announced by the Commish...also ESPiN is saying that Steelers are shopping Pig Ben to other teams to get a top 10 draft choice.. because of multiple violations(Holmes & Ratlisberger) the Steelers may be fined by the NFL.

This article says he can't practice with the team until he completes his Vulcan Mind Meld...sportscenter says that a letter was sent to all NFL teams letting them know the length of his suspension..getting a trade done for this dirtbag isn't going to be easy..too close to the draft and too many chances the suspension could be expanded...I'd love to see him go to the Raiders...you mess with the women out there and they will kick your ass..they don't call it the "black hole" for nothing

I'm not gonna lie, I've always been a fan of Big Ben. I thought he was a great player in college and he was the QB I most wanted Pittsburgh to get in that draft. I was elated when they drafted him.

Last year's incident was easy to chalk up to the gal simply being a nutjob. After this incident I think it's probably time for Ben to find a new team, for the benefit of both he and the team. A top-10 pick would be ideal, but I'd settle for a first-rounder at this point.

Seeing 2 of my favorite Steelers (Holmes being the other) players generate this much bad news has been crappy for me to watch. I'm just ready for this saga to be over.

This sounds like the best possible place for him--the Raiders don't have enough of a (good) reputation for it to be in jeopardy.

Well...that's excessive.

Bear in mind the Commish had a bunch of interviews done behind the scenes with all kinds of people--the cops, guards, etc.--in addition to BB's private trip to the principal's office last week, so Roger may very well have clearer & more complete information about what's been going on than any of us will ever have.

BTW, since I haven't plowed through the War&Peace-sized legal document: has anyone read if the hospital bothered to do a tox screen on the young woman? Given all the other things we've heard about Rapistberger & his gang of pim...uh, I mean, bodyguards, slipping a dose of ecstasy into a target's drink doesn't seem beyond their code of honor.

The Oakland Raiders are apparently stepping up to the plate with a quickness.

According to NFL Network?s Jason La Canfora, the Raiders are in contact with the Steelers about a trade for Ben Roethlisberger.

I can only hope women in the Bay area are a little less safe soon.
