What an awful year of college football. Can anyone remember any recent seasons with this much suck in it?

Ending what might have been the most exciting college football season in history, Auburn finished off Oregon in perhaps the best championship college football game in history, taking a 22-19 victory on Byrum's 19-yard field goal as time ran out.

And I love that four different SEC teams have won five BCS National Championships in a row. I do not think the Big-10 - or any other conference - will be doing that any time soon. So I am proud of my conference, because whether you want to say so or not, that is an awesome statistic.

And I hate those other guys just fine as soon as the regular SEC season starts.:wink2:

Uga just lost to a c-usa team and has been punching bags for these top sec teams. What exactly do they have to celebrate for?

The number of times the letters SEC appear on a search would refute that. I don't know how you feel about it one way, but "the other" is pretty damn clear.

Few things bring more pleasure than watching Shetuck at work

No need to respond to my post with a "you" that clearly is addressed to other people.

I'm sure its been said before, and I know I'm preaching to the choir here, but I hope the media can finally lose their chub over Oregon's "blur" offense. Versus defenses with a pulse in BCS games, they've scored 36 points. Total. That's 15 points below their game average. Except, you know... over two games.

SEC teams are 7-0 in BCS championships with 5 different teams winning the title. That is an impressive stat considering that the Big 12 is the only other conference with multiple winners with 2 teams.

I know, huh. I do not see how y'all fail to connect the dots on the conference love thing. Actually, I don't why everybody maintains they don't care about conference affiliation when the Big-10 versus SEC matchups seemed to have a lot of interest this year.
conference pride makes sense. Georgia fans being arrogant aabout their accomplishment does not.

Their team failed miserably yet again.

Their membership and proximity to good programs does not earn them any bragging rights any mote than northwestern fans when the big ten sweeps the bcs.

Florida had a huge role in the sec run. Georgia has been a perennial underachiever and just turned in the worst yet, losing to ucf. They have no bragging rights for the taunting.
