BCS Title Game: Auburn -3.5 vs Oregon (ov/un 74.5) Jan 10, 2011

Enjoy it for the eighteen months before it's stripped.

Btw, let me know when Nick fairly approaches the English language. Looks like espn cut away quickly before the post game turned into hooked on ebonics. Gotta protect the sec.

First, I half expected Fairly to shank John on the podium. Second, I understood about two words of what Fairly said.
"I'm gonna be rich, muthaf-ers!!!" The rest was Fairly thinking Cam for the private plane and the trip to Vegas after the Bama game.

Meh, most athletes shouldn't be interviewed. There are a few on our own team that should just go straight to the locker room.

Someone else posted it at the time, but did anyone else notice how "disinterested" everyone on the field seemed after the win? No one stormed the field, jumped, ran wild screaming, etc...when we beat Miami that field went fucking bat shit crazy. Cam Newton just strolled out to midfield like he just beat Directional Louisiana (perhaps because he knows it's being stripped in a year anyways? or 4...)

Gene Chizik sounds like a god damn asshole too. He said the same thing over and over and over and over. No expression on his face. Go War Eagle. woo...woo...woo..? I think both of these teams are in fact better than what they showed tonight but my god that was the most god awful NC game I can recall witnessing. TCU, Wisconsin, Stanford, Alabama, and probably Us - would have clown stomped the two teams on that field tonight.

As someone else also asked earlier - can we put an end to Oregons FAST HIGH OCTANE RECORD BREAKING INNOVATIVE OFFENSE being the best ever crock of shit? They've been thoroughly dominated by teams with a defensive pulse two years in a row come bowl time.

/end rant

ps: Pryor just dominated a far better defense than what Cam did tonight but Cam is a 1st rounder and TP is a bagger at the local Giant Eagle? uh, what?

Not sure what that was, but at least there was some excitement at the end. To me, neither one of these defenses were good enough to do what they did tonight. They have to seiously think about moving this game back closer to New Years. The layoff is just too long. It was like the first game of the season all over again...

I dunno - what's wrong with 7 months to prepare?

Not that it matters since their offensive genius is now unemployed, but wonder what thomas beaver thought of Oregon's vaunted offense tonight. Funny how they seem so pedestrian when put up against a decent defense...

Okay, so even though I hate the way Kelly coaches...he at least shows respect and can give props to others post-game. I have not heard a SINGLE comment from any Auburn player or coach recognizing Oregon. I think Tressel and every captain interviewed post-sugar bowl recognized Arkansas being a great football team.
