In all honesty, I have no doubt that after the first few plays of that drive Auburn would've had their way with the Oregon D one last time on their way to the same outcome. Wrist or no wrist, Oregon just didn't have enough.

I didn't think he was down - it was different that the Arkansas player who had the back of his hand/wrist on the ground with the palm pointing up.

Dyer had his palm on the ground, so he wasn't down. A lucky break, but Oregon made the mistake of quitting on the play without a whistle.

Well, by rule he was down as well.

The wrist on his ball-carrying hand was on the ground. Besides that, there was no reason for the Oregon player to ever let go of his ass. That whole play was just a microcosm of the whole ugly, poorly executed, Auburn-officiated game.

I didn't see that on the replays...the back of his hand was down, but not his wrist....

The number of times the letters SEC appear on a search would refute that. I don't know how you feel about it one way, but "the other" is pretty damn clear.
