BCS Title: Florida 24, Oklahoma 14 (Final)

Anyone claiming Miami is not a home-field advantage (I'm looking at you Gator) should listen again to the crowd after that FG block.

The fans who have a home crowd advantage at a "neutral" site will never acknowledge it. To be fair, I probably wouldn't either, if I had it. :ohwell:

Yes I was saying that to one of my friends earlier. It shows that the BCS is even more crap because USC is able to play at home and Florida can have home field advantage in a national championship game. Do you hear them chanting Florida? Thats ridiculous. I guess you can't find a place to put a bowl game where there isn't a major college team nearby that has a possibility to go there. Not to mention a city that is capable of hosting an event like this.

Florida's defense has done a good job of limiting Oklahoma's YAC. They killed teams all season long on yardage gained after receivers made the catch.

was just telling the wife b4 kickoff about the advantages of the South and West in Bowl games due to location..sure the weather is nice, but the crowd isn't. Probably one reason why it will be a rare team from the North that will win a NC anymore.

I would love to see Florida play a NC outdoors in Wisconsin right now.

While theoretically possible, there ain't much chance for a home field advantage at the Fiesta Bowl.

I'm glad we get to see football player in optimum weather conditions. If these games were played in bad weather, a northern team would have a distinct advantage; an advantage much larger than a mostly home crowd.

The crowd has to stop being an excuse at some point.

It would be nice to see bowls played away from both teams, but it's just not going to happen. Oklahoma could easily be winning this game, by more than a score.
