BCS predictions/discussion/Knock Em' Off

My predictions:

1. Kansas defeats Missouri--or vice-versa.

2. Winner of Kansas-Missouri loses to Oklahoma in Big 12 Championship.

3. LSU loses to Georgia in SEC Championship game. Or maybe even Arkansas.

4. West Virginia wins out.

5. OSU and WVU will be matched up in BCS title game.

6. Holy hell will break out on both sides of the river here in southeast Ohio.

7. OSU will be crowned National Champions for the 2007-08 year.

8. OSU will be preseason #1 next year.

9. OSU will succumb to the pressure and finish 11-2, losing to USC and Michigan.

Thats a bold preiction.But you might wanna tweak that 11-2 to 13-0.Besides I think they'll put the gators at preseason #1 next year.

You were doing well right up to the "losing to Michigan" part. This was Michigan's best shot for the next few years, and they laid a complete egg. Entire offense came back, and we lost everybody with any major star power. Then consider that the game was at the Pig House. This was their shot, and they were doubled up in yardage by A SINGLE BUCKEYE PLAYER. HA!

Not next year. Not in our house.

before today, i would have sent up many cheers to your comment, but HBO's portrayal of Bo's first year against Woody in their rivalry documentary, reminded me, once again, that odds are meaningless in THE GAME.

Actually... to answer my own question.. kinda... but also to address Shetuck's concerns and BestBuckeye's confidence remarks.... consider this...

It is one day after The Game 2007. One day, and we're already thinking about next year's Game.

I'd say our focus is just fine... of course... I'm not suiting up next season, so... :wink2:
