He doesn't get off blocks very well. He's a beast, I love him, and a great player, but he got trucked by Tebow last year and was having a lot of problems shedding the blocks this year.

I guess I kind of sounded pretty bad. Heh. I'm thinking of the PSU game where a fullback on Laurinaitis shut him down completely.

And yeah, Flynn is very mistake-prone. But besides Malcolm Jenkins and James Laurinaitis this team has butterfingers. A mass case of Braylonitis. I still want to see at least a pick. Maybe Jenkins can snatch one away from Early Doucet and take it to the house. I would need a change of pants if that happened.

I get what you're saying, I just thought "weak" was a bit harsh. Can he be stopped? Absolutely he can. But he's the kind of player that LSU or any other opponent is going oto have to account for on every play. I'm watching the Penn State game right now, and it's obvious that their entire offensive attack was predicated on avoiding Laurinaitis or selling out to take him out of a play. If LSU has to make a similar effort to account for Laurinaitis, it will open up opportunities for other guys like Marcus Freeman to make big plays - just like in the PSU game.

I just got off the phone with my buddy who is pulling his own weight down there right now, if you know what I mean.

He is trying to find an LSU fan that apparently just smacked his wife in the face while in line for a beer. :box:

Somehow, I knew the LSU-OSU honeymoon would end too soon, what a shame.

As I sit and try to wrap my head around this game I can't help but like our chances. All of the talk has been spewed, all of the lame news stories have been filed. What is left now is 2 great teams stepping on the field and knocking heads for 60 minutes. It's a classic showdown that almost has taken on a legendary status to the Buckeye faithful.

Most of the media says that we can't win this game. Most of the fans say that we'll get our ass kicked tomorrow. We've lost 8 bowl games in a row to the SEC, there is no way that the Buckeyes win this one. LSU will be playing a home game, the hostile crowd will take the Buckeyes out of this one. At least that is what they all say. But the magical thing about college football, and athletic competition as whole, is that rules are meant to be broken. History is exactly that.........history. The Buckeyes have a chance to begin a new chapter in the history of college football, for them......as well as the Big Ten. This game in many ways has taken on it's own meaning, it's a game that not only Ohio State, but in some ways the state of Ohio, needs.

You see, most people can only take so much of taunting from a bully. Sure, he may have knocked you down a time or two, but eventually you are going to throw down the gloves and fight that son-of-a-bitch. Folks.....that SOB is the LSU Tigers tomorrow night........that SOB is the national media........that SOB is everyone who is doubting the Buckeyes of Ohio State. Those who are most successful in life are the ones who don't repeat past mistakes. Tomorrow Jim Tressel and his well prepared squad are going to avenge that ugly debacle from last season. It's time to play ball.........

OSU- 31
LSU- 13
