Both Quarterbacks can run the option offense, if we (LSU) choose to run it. Flynn is more of a passer who can run while Perrilloux is the runner who can pass. From a game perspective, both QB's have made their fair share of mistakes and I'd say both are equal (depending on how healthy Flynn gets by the time of the game).

Granted LSU is/was known for Power-I football and of course tailback by committee, so horrendous QB play won't hurt that badly as long as someone is available to take snaps and hand the ball off.


Just out of curiosity, what's the speed of the LB corps like?

In games I have watched Flynn looked ok Perriloux looked average at best , both running or passing.

:lol: Unfortunately, no. Rest assured, you won't see any "wild hog" formation from us. What you will see is this newfangled creation called the "Power-I." In all seriousness though, Tressel will put in a few trick plays but we're the least gimmicky offense you'll face this year.

Both are capable and dangerous in their own regard, from what I've seen anyway. Dumb question, but what did Flynn hurt and how? How bad is his injury? You guys seemed to be the most effective when you had Flynn healthy and used Perrilloux on running downs.

Question for the LSU fans: other than Flynn coming back and Dorsey healing up, are there any other impact players for LSU that will be getting healthy over the long break until the game?

For tOSU, Lawrence Wilson(DE) and Ross Homan(LB) would be a couple of players that might be returning to action.

As several have said, it doesn't matter. We'll be prepared for either. I think our next to the last game of the season against Juice Williams (Illinois) will help us in preparing for Perrilloux...
