I don't think it's been mentioned yet...I can't help but wonder what kind of impact Bo Pelini leaving might have on their defense. Anyone know who's next in line and who will be calling the shots during the NC game?
Maybe they'll stop becoming swiss cheese in the red zone? They could have the Tiger calling plays and be in the same shape.

Incredible.

You disagree with my assertions and then devalue my reputation.
So much for being a forum to express differing opinions.
I guess if one doesn't tow-the-line or agenda of the moderator, you get devalued.
Nice.

Well, you're the one who marched in to this thread and assumed Gator was a troll, despite the fact that he's been a solid contributor here on this board for a while now.

Spare me the "you're all a clique" shit. If you don't like the posts and posters here, you're free to move your ass on down the road.

I've been reading posts on tigerdroppings.com for a few hours. Most of them are convinced that LSU will win by 20-30 points. Most have not seen a 2007 OSU game and their entire impression of OSU is based on the Florida game last January. The only players they seem to know are Jimmy Laurenitis and Chris Wells.

This plays right into our hands.

I made that mistake last night. That site is pretty much complete garbage.

Some of them are alright. I am pleasantly surprised that I have not been cussed out or told to go to hell or whatever despite challenging the notion that LSU is not an unstoppable juggernaut. I had to create a whole thread about what a buckeye is.

That's a great question! I'd like to pile another question on...

Is it customary for an assistant coach (being promoted to a head coach at another school) to leave after the regular season or after the bowl game? Especially given the opportunity for a MNC, do you think it's possible that Bo Pelini might stay with LSU until Jan 8th?

I assume that Pelini would start immediately to fill the Nebraska's vacant head coaching position. Just wondering if the MNC title game could have any impact...

What I don't take seriously is a Gator fan trolling on a Buckeye board craving for attention/approval.
 Gator is anything but a troll

Good questions - I'd imagine Pelini will have to start calling Nebraska recruits and meeting with the players, etc. - it will be hard to do that AND prepare LSU for the National Championship. LSU probably wants someone that will be completely focused on their task at hand... I'm not saying I know what he'll do, but it would be very hard for Pelini to be everything to everyone between now and the game (small g)

I can't imagine him sticking around or LSU wanting someone with other things on his mind. Besides, he's a Buckeye and knows better than to think he can come up with a gameplan to shut us down. :wink2:

I was thinking that having Henton suspended for the regular season might be some kind of blessing in disguise. Super genius Les Miles will never expect or prepare for some kind of Wildcat formation with Henton, Saine and/or Small in the same backfield.
