When Beanie's 240 hits Steltz's 210 at 4.5 speed, I like Beanie's chances...that's if Beanie doesn't stiff-arm Steltz 3 yards backwards first...

Definitely a collision I'd like to see.

There are plenty of boards for smack talk...however, this isn't one of those.

We handle the visitors when they can't have a decent discussion without the chest thumping bs...the same is expected from tOSU fans.

Squash the garbage. The LSU folks have been great so far...they are entitled to their opinions and they are certainly allowed to have high opinions of their players.

The discussion/debate from those assessments can happen without the smack.

go to this link: The Ohio State Buckeyes Official Athletics Site - OhioStateBuckeyes.com and vote for the good guys. LSU fans are being cheeky and trying override the OSU site with votes for LSU to win.

Sorry if this has been mentioned before.

Actually, I think this is a good ploy from the Ohio State IT department. No way that many LSU fans are voting for LSU on Ohio State's home page. :tongue2:

I've seen it linked regularly on all of the LSU forums, with many repeat threads. Then there's also the potential for a script inflating the votes.

Considering 15 to 25 votes are being added consistently every minute for LSU, I suspect someone is running a computer program to automatically add votes for LSU. Unfortunately, it looks like it is going to be an LSU blowout.

I saw on the news last night that counterfiet tickets are already showing up for the game. A couple of things to look out for if you are buying tickets. The tickets have New Orleans theme pictures on them, but adjacent seats have different scenes. So if you are offered 2 seats together and they have the same picture on them, watch out. Also the numbers on the game date are indented on the real tickets.

Great advice. There are a lot of crooks out there.

[sarcasm font]damn those bastiges!!!

probably the same ones who went and inflated Janus' votes on the chicago tribune site and *almost* successed in fouling buckeye fans' attempts to keep Garrett Goebel ahead in the voting for illinois' best football player.[/sarcasm font]

:paranoid:

When you look back in the past how many players with professional potential can you name who's careers ended because of injury at the college level?

Good point. A guy gets hurt and with modern medicine he still might recover and play in the NFL anyway. This is not the only thing to consider though.

Injuries can hurt DRAFT POSITION. Draft position determines money. Performance in the NFL Combine has alot to do with determining draft position. An injury in a bowl game can limit or prevent a players participation in the NFL Combine therefore hurt his draft position. An injury in a bowl game could be even more likely when the player was banged up already before coming into the game.

That's my point. That's all I'm saying. Yes, I know a player can blow out a knee recover and still play in the NFL. I also know that this player probably won't get paid as much as he would if he didn't get hurt.

Oh well. When we win the actual game, at least they will have screen shots of that poll showing that they would win by 14. It might help them sleep a little better knowing that they succeeded at rigging an internet poll that no one actually looked at:biggrin:
