... physical Hester is not the best you have faced, but mentally he is the best you have faced.

 umm, if i'm on the same page as you, *mentally*, the best we have faced, imo, is/was Mike Hart.

I have stated that Wells is not the best RB we faced this year. That honor goes to McFadden who is an incredbile physical freak. To be able to move at 4.3 speed or better in full pads with his size, geezee. I would argue that McFadden would run for 200+ against Ohio State's defense from the WildHog. Not that you guys are bad; he is that damn good.

i don't think you can do a head-to-head comparison here between Wells and McFadden because a great deal of what they've been able/unable to do this has to do with the effectiveness of their o-lines on each particular saturday. McFadden may have been the best you've faced this year on that particular saturday, but if tOSUs oline plays like Ark's did a couple weeks ago (openining up 385 yards rushing for three different backs), and your D forgets to show up, Beanie would put up much more than 206 yards on you guys.

Oh I completely understand this. My question was about the statment that the other two RB's for LSU will be the best we have seen all year. They are not even the best (or complete as you like to call it) on LSU. I think his statment is just plain foolish and so far he has offered nothing up to prove his point but others have pointed to at least three other backs we have faced this year who have proven they are as good if not better.

If you are that good you will get the ball plain and simple.

Willams and Scott would be starters on other teams, but LSU's talent is too deep. They will be even better next year.

Not to take anything away from McFadden, because he is an outstanding back...but in comparison.

The average defense Arkansas played was ranked 75th in the run out of 119 teams.

Ohio State's was 53rd out of 119 teams. That's a big difference. Also Beanie was banged up a good portion of the year, and still is.

When it's all said and done, there's a very real chance that Beanie will have a more decorated college career than Run DMC.

Arkansas Against the Run Rankings

Troy (94 th)
Bama (34)
Kentucky (92)
North Texas (115)
Auburn (27)
Mississippi (102)
FIU (105)
South Carolina (109)
Tennessee (68)
Mississippi St. (65)
LSU (14)

no Ut-Chatt.

OSU
Penn State (6 th)
Illinois (23)
Michigan State (42)
Purdue (55)
Wisconsin (49)
scUM (56)
Northwestern (74)
Akron (88)
Washington (89)
Minnesota (44)
Kent State (63)

X-Ray Randy? Is that you? I kid, I kid ... but I'm starting to wonder. :)

I hope he doesn't do a search for that username, or he might threaten to sue BP over a statement like that.

Not that anyone would ever do such a thing...:paranoid:

Counterfiet tickets

I saw on the news last night that counterfiet tickets are already showing up for the game. A couple of things to look out for if you are buying tickets. The tickets have New Orleans theme pictures on them, but adjacent seats have different scenes. So if you are offered 2 seats together and they have the same picture on them, watch out. Also the numbers on the game date are indented on the real tickets.

The kid looked good this year. But do you guys really think he's gonna be powering over OUR defense.
Uhh, I think once Beanie hits the second phase he can overpower any defense in the country. The key is our O-line overpowering your d-line. If we can open up some holes and get beanie into your backfield, he'll truck stick DBs and LBers all night long.

He will need to make some LB's miss. Highsmith is NFL talent and very fast and strong. It will be very intersting to see that matchup. I can not believe your Oline is any better than Auburn's. I just do not see Well making a living on Jan 7 going at GD and RJF.

I really hate Chris Wells. You know, for that whole demolishing Michigan thing two years in a row.

That being said, he's a fantastic back who's gonna get his yards against LSU, like it or not. Your trio of backs isn't good enough to hold this kid's jock. He can overpower you, run past you, juke you out of your shorts, stiffarm you to the ground, whatever. The kid's unreal.

The emboldened is based on what?

Edit:

D1AFootball

Games Rushes Yards YPC TD YPG
20. Ohio St. 12 524 2415 4.61 20 201.25
56. Auburn 12 496 1850 3.73 21 154.17

We had 30 more carries, 565 more yards, 0.88 yards per carry more, 1 less TD, and 47.08 yards more per game. Seems like our OLine is, at least, comparable.
