Guys, let's not start complaining about the refs here. It's very suspect, and seems very uncharacteristic of both teams, but the fact is that if the team is playing as well as it can, it shouldn't matter.

The coaches are getting paid for this exact reason. I'll bet they're scheming and motivating, and the team will come out in the second half the way they started the first, fired up and ANGRY. And they won't let up this time.

We can make up this deficit, we just can't gain another 200+ yards and only have 10 points to show for it. We also can't leave the D out there for a whole quarter like we just did. Keep the faith, our guys can pull this one out.:oh:

WRONG!!!!......Beanie is playing awesome. If you notice his best runs come when a FB is in front of him. He didn;t get that luxury in the 2nd quaretr, not really sure why.

Beanie needs a lead blocker to make decesions off of, it helps his read 1000%.

I hope we don't force the issue in the second half. Get the ball back, re-establish Beanie, and claw our way back into the game.

There are still 2 more quarters, plenty of time, but the defense needs to step up, and the playcalling needs to be on point.

Really, because we got totally hosed on their first TD drive. The phantom late hit out of bounds and the non holding call all on the same play were certainly a huge positional change. I'm not arguing the Animal face mask call, but that first call was absolutely huge....

LSU's O is going to come out strong too. I don't know what to expect with each playcall.

Hester is getting 6-7 yards a pop, Flynn is distributing it to the WRs and they are making plays.

With Hester on the ground, they will eat up the clock fast, even after a few stops. OSU's offense has to work fast and efficiently when they get the ball back.

What I like, and you guys can call me crazy for calling a 2 TD deficit anything but bad, is that we're moving the ball okay. We're moving the ball and our best player is almost a nonfactor in our offense. We're playing defense, and the only thing that's letting LSU score is that we can't get off the field on 3rd downs. That will change. It's like in the NCAA tournament against Tennessee. They have to cool off from 3 point land eventually. LSU is playing flawlessly. They have to cool off and turn back into LSU eventually. By then, we'll have taken the game over.

If there's any coach I want in this situation, it's Jim Tressel. Or Bill Belichick.
