I don't get why people seem to think that the playcalling is awful or we're getting killed or something. We're down by 14- but think about it. If Robo makes that play in the endzone, we have 17, AND they have to drive an extra 20 yards if they want to get that touchdown that they got (they got the ball at the 40 off of that missed field goal). That's at least 7 extra points. Maybe they also don't get that TD because of the extra yardage. If Boeckman throws that ball to Small about a foot longer, that's potentially a big gain that leads to maybe a TD, maybe a FG.. And almost certainly one less TD for them. This game is closer than the score and we can come back at any second. I'm worried about us emotionally, but we can EASILY win this.

They scored 24 in that half, nothing says we can't score 24 this half.

someone with in depth knowledge of college rules please reply. On LSU's gimmee touchdown to the tight end, they had 4 players in a bunch to the right, a wide receiver left a yard off the line of scrimmage. the tight end was lined up at left tackle and caught the touchdown pass. I froze the dvr and only counted 11 guys. the tight end was definitely the left tackle. Can he catch the ball?

That was the THE PLAY that turned the half, that's for sure. Still plenty of time.

Exactly. As Beanie goes, so do we. That he only has 10 carries in the first half is a bit disappointing. He needs to be most of our offense, IMO. Boeckman is solid, but he's not going to win this game. Saine isn't. Robo isn't. Beanie is - and we need to give him the ball and let him do his thing.

The question is can the players and staff learn from what happened last year and what has occurred in this half. If they can then we will be okay, if not then it will be another year of the same talking head BS we heard all year this year.....

Running almost nothing but zone is hurting us...
That's how the tight end is getting so open...
They stack one side... the zone goes there...
and they hit the open areas...
