This would probably piss them off more than anything. From my 14 years here in the south I can tell you that a good "Who won the war bitch?" will do more to rile up inbreds than anything else. They hate blacks, mexicans, chew tobaco, drink Busch, love Dale JR, and fuck their sisters/mothers. Fuck the south, fuck the SEC, and fuck the Rebel flag.

hey....lets not get crazy

.............what is wrong with Busch?

I have never posted on this forum, mostly because I can't type fast during a game.

However, I am so SICK of the "Ohio State" is unworthy crap.

I am also very tired of the SEC arrogance. I actually saw an article on MSNBC by John Tamanaha this morning saying "The champion of the SEC, the toughest conference in the country, should always receive prime consideration for the title game."

I also saw Les Miles said his team is arguably the best team in the country. There isn't any humility there.

The SEC-Big 10 thing is looking like the classic South hating the North thing. No amount of reason will ever work with those people. Even if we were to beat LSU, they would rationalize it with something like "Les Miles is really a big 10 guy....if we played a team with a REAL SEC coach we would have been beaten".

That being said, I want to see us play LSU and win. It's the closest we will ever get to putting the SEC-Big 10 and OSU is weak crap to rest.

Unfortunatley for us our 0-9 record against the SEC in bowl games is well known. Beating LSU in their own back yard will do some to silence the critics but as we all know SEC homers have selective memories and a tOSU win will be met with talk of how we have only beaten the SEC once. An arguement based on current facts is useless with an SEC fan, such an arguement requires intelligence and most SEC fans are not equipped for such a thing.

I am so glad that we have JT as our coach. You haven't heard one peep out of the guy in the past two weeks. Last night on sportcenter they had phone interviews with Richt, Carrol, and Miles where they were basically whining and crying how they should be in the title game. Each coach provided different excuses for their 2 losses.

Richt- we are playing our best ball in the last 6 games. The title game should be about who is the best team right now.

Carrol- we were banged up early in year but now we are healthy

Miles-don't know exactly what he said because I turned the channel.

you know those Douchebags at ESPN were calling JT all night to get an interview and he didn't even pick up the phone. He just sat in his barcalounger breaking down Michigan film for the big game on 11/22/08

Does anyone here thinks that Hawaii should be playing for national championship after all?

Hawaii came back from a huge deflicit to Washington to win it. Colt Brennan went 42 for 50 for 400+ yards and 5 TDs with no interceptions.

Even Ohio State and LSU would have a tough time stopping that offense.

The simple fact that the come back started with 10:21 left in the 2nd quarter and it was against UW makes it a little less spectacular and yes I stayed up to watch the entire game. Hawaii WOULD NOT score 30+ against any defense in the top 5 period. Hawaii gets a BCS at large and should be happy with that, Kansas and Hawaii would be a nice match up, neither team is real impressive in all three phases of the game. Give Hawaii a Big Ten or ACC schedule and they lose a minimum of three games, so no way does a non-BCS conference team play in the title game this year.

I said from the time we became #1 in the BCS that with the national disgust (jealousy) of The Ohio State University that the only way that The Bucks will get the RESPECT NATIONALLY that they deserve is to play and beat LSU on their home field (pretty much anyway). The national media and most fans nationally just don't see what we as Buckeye fans have seen all year that Tress took a team that got their asses handed to them last year. Lost, well all the offense, rebuilt their confidence, let a TON of kids play early and often and took care of business with really just 1 piss poor performance during the year.

I'm glad we didn't go undefeated, it was great the way things turned and now NO ONE in the country will give The Bucks a chance in hell against LSU, Georgia, USC. I like it that we will be No.1 in the BCS and not be favored. That's fine with me. This is much different from last year. We are not expected to win. BUT WE WILL WIN THIS FUCKING GAME because we have the best coach in America. Tress learned from his mistakes last year and will not let THIS team get all full of itself.

Hang on Folks, it's gonna be a hell of a ride and most of all .........

BE HUMBLE!!!

These are reminders that aren't meant to inject anger but to keep us aware that just showing up isn't enough and staying focused is essential.

Handing the Buckeyes another loss is the primary objective of our opponent.
Undefeated team stumbles in title game 41-14.
Making it to the National Championship is only part of the mission.
Belittling your opponent undermines what The Ohio State University stands for.
Loss to Illinois 28-21 should be a reminder that we are not perfect.
Expect to win.

We may not win but I guarantee whoever we play will get our best shot. Michigan ran their mouths last year and we blew them out at home. This is a the chance JT and the players wanted. If a cocky LSU team comes to play they will be in for a big suprise. We will be the best defense they faced all year hands down.

Hey just remember we only have two senior starters on offense and defence so next year I smell a #1 ranking

It will depend heavily on the NC performance and Jr retention (given the current state of recruiting, it seems there may be some sort early departures). Florida & USC will get serious hype.

I think OSU and USC will be 1/2 in either order is ESPiN has any say, and they will over the whole off season. You know they want to be able to hype that game in LA to the max. Think the Texas game hype raised to "USC is the greatest team ever" hype.

Excuse me, but if indeed LSU is picked #2, just how in the fuck do they deserve to jump all three teams ahead of them (Georgia, Kansas, and Virginia Tech) who were idle (Georgia, Kansas) or won (Va Tech beat BC). Sorry, but their 7-point win over a 3-loss Tennessee team wasn't all that impressive.

Agree, but the three teams in front of them have serious flaws
UGA - Not SEC Champ
Va Tech - Poleaxed by LSU
Kansas - Could not win BigXII

It almost has to be LSU, though in my mind, THAT's the "default" team that gets in... not OSU.

I would say that this result shows the error in polls in a dramatic way. For Playoff proponents this is the year for them to make the most noise.
