Hey do the replacements have SEC Speed!!! Sorry, just could not resist...
Chekwa does (likely new #2), FL. Possible #4/5 CB James Scott does as well.

Ohio born Jamario O'Neal has all the athleticism in the world. I have more faith in the other DBs, however.

The light hasn't quite gone on for him yet, if you ask me. He plays adequate enough just based on his raw ability... but, considering his hype out of HS, I think we as fans were expecting more from him. If it ever clicks, he's got next level talent... but... will it ever click seems to be the question.

Agreed completely. I was merely using him to make a point about 'speed'. I'd love to have the 'slow' Doss back for another game.

Flynn

The 10 PM news just re-reported about Flynn being hurt and may not be able to play all or possibly any in the NC. The report used an unnamed source as their informant. This did not come from LSU or the coaching staff, so I would take it with several grains of salt, or maybe a box. The newspeople are desperate for anything to report on the game right now, so they will take off on anything.

But reporting something like that is sure to get every red-blooded LSU fan in that area in a tizzy. I don't think they'd report it lightly.

as bad as Jam-O played last year, I thought he did a really nice job this year in the limited time he saw.

I think he's as athletic as anyone on the team, and his speed is very impressive.

Losing Donald will hurt, especially because he never gets beat, but at the same time (whether its because of scheme or b/c of Donald), he gives up a lot of short, underneath garbage. I could easily see Amos or Checkw showing out, and playing a more aggressive game.

We'll see though. It would have definately been very nice to have a full compliment of players, but sometimes kids make the wrong choice.

I hope it's true, then maybe everyone will stop saying that we are going to win in a walk....although I think the media is starting to come around to this being a toss up type of game and maybe even more picking OSU to win. That's the way it should be.

I DON'T THINK YOU GUYS UNDERSTAND.

Hey, Buckeyes from reading your post I don't think some of you guys understand the SEC. It is not a knock on you, but the SEC is the best conference top to bottom. I am not a butt kisser but you guys have the only team in the big 10 this year that would have won over 5 games. Year in and year out OSU would compete for an SEC title, where as in the Big 10 there will be years when you are an unstoppable force. Trust me this is truly not a knock on you guys, I just don't feel that outside of OSU and UM there are any quality programs in the Big 10. Top tier teams Big 10 OSU,UM SEC LSU,UF,TENN,GA. Good luck.

In the very recent years, sure. I don't think anyone is denying the SEC has been a stronger conference than the Big Ten. It all balances out over time though, all conferences have their up and down years. Look at the average SOS of the conferences over the past 15 years and you'll see that the Big Ten actually comes out ahead.

If you get to throw in Tennessee and Georgia, then you have to add Illinois, Wisconsin, and Penn State into the mix. Those three teams have proved that they are good, just not great. I will agree that the SEC is tougher and they have more depth of tougher teams, but every year it seems like their are only two top consistent teams in each conference recently, Ohio State and Michigan for the Big 10 and Florida and LSU for the SEC.
