BCS Guru (incorrectly) projected LSU-Oklahoma State in Title Game

rematches are terrible a good amount of the time in college football

the first game was awful....im guessing the 2nd game is just as bad, with someone possibly getting blown out this time around.

Pickens may have enough power to destroy the BCS over this. How can a team get another shot when they lose at home?

I don't think the smaller Big 12 is going to be happy about this if it goes down this way..My question is, and I'm probably crazy for thinking it..will Texas support the conference or will they back off of espn? I mean I don't want to lead the the charge screaming "Conspiracy Theorists Unite!" or anything but it does make me curious. With all of the talk about espn being the secret hand in conference re-alignment this might be playing into their hands even more so than is what is obviously on the surface with an all SEC NCG.

Me thinks if it were a 12-1 Texas team that just blasted OU in the big 12 championship game, they would be in the NCG.

You should.

I won't be. In fact, I am pretty much ignoring the BCS this year for the first time ever.

Yep. I'll be watching the Rose just out of tradition, but I don't really have much interest in it. Otherwise, I hope the ratings suck, especially for the NCG.

I also hate the "win your [censored]ing conference" argument. Don't punish the second best team in the country just because, by fluke, they happen to be in the same conference division as the best team in the country. Bama played LSU to a dead draw in regulation...hard to argue they're not the true #2 team in the country. I'd rather watch LSU's defense try to contain Okie State's offense in the NCG, but I don't think that's going to happen.

Aren't you punishing a team for having a tragedy? After all, that occurred the night before they lost their only game which was a fluke.

Why is Alabama for losing after having no offense and a crappy field goal kicker better than a team who was facing a personal adversity?
