I'm not as knowledgeable many other posters and I've read a lot of things in this thread and others that some have posted that don't make sense to me.

According to the latest polls on CBSportsline, the Bucks are ranked #4 in the AP and Coaches polls and still at #6 in the BCS followed by Oregon and ND. LSU and VT were ranked 4 and 5 in the BCS standings. Both of those teams lost yesterday. So I guess my question is how in the hell can Oregon or ND leapfrog the Bucks and get the #4 position in the BCS standings especially considering that neither of them played. Am I missing something?

I told you I'm not up on a lot of this stuff like some of you and just wondering if I missed something along the way.

Yes, I know the BCS poll is not out yet which is why I asked the question I did. The new AP and Coaches polls are out and the Bucks are ranked #4 in both of them. Since the two teams above them (LSU and VT) in the BCS poll both lost and neither the Bucks, Oregon or ND played how could either of those teams move ahead of the Bucks as some have suggested could happen. Of should I say "HOPE" it happens.

I would love it if they switched up the teams and did this:

Rose - USC vs Texas
Fiesta - OSU vs ND
Sugar - Georgia vs PSU
Orange - FSU vs WVU

nobody wants to see Georgia kick WVU's ass.......meanwhile Penn State gets the easy matchup against the other team that doesn't deserve a BCS bid.

Dream on. Given the choice, I think it's safe to say that the Orange Bowl will take the Battle of the Aged, rather than having the FSU-W.Va. snoozer.

Any early word on any of the selections? I know in years past sometimes word has leaked early. The BCS is so stupid that I don't put it past them not letting these obvious matchups happen.

It's OFFICIAL: OSU to Fiesta Bowl!!!!!

My friend just got back from the OSU football banquet and Gene Smith got a phone call in the middle of the ceremony. He told the crowd if you like to tan and enjoy a dry heat you'll enjoy the bowl game we just got invited to.

The Fiesta Bowl told him it was a secret and that he wasn't allowed to tell so he told the crowd and players without actually "Telling them." :biggrin:

Start to get your travel plans ready to head to the desert!!!

Go Bucks, beat the Domers!!!!!!
