UPDATE: Chili's simmering on the back burner. Made the Pizza with the Prof deal with both classes, person who picks the winner and comes closest to the score wins a pizza lunch with moi. Deal is null and void if the Bucks don't win, though do to a commitment to academic freedom students are free to choose Florida. Beer is iced. DVR and Tivo are set... double back up system.

Am going to try for power up, but with the surge I've got going through me I don't think it's going to work.

Why the fuck couldn't this have been played on a Friday?

I woke up this morning, and relized today is the day. Our beloved Bucks meet the Gators in the National Championship.

So, like other game days. I pull out my never been washed Ohio State Jersey. (My kids both refuse to hug me while I have it on.) Pull my Woody Ball cap. A really sweet cap, that spells Woody in block letters in red. Place it on my head. I stare at the cool Ohio State flag I got for Christmas but refuse to put it up until after the game(win or lose). I don't want to jinx the team so I am keeping everything the exact way it was during the season.

Tonight, I will sit on the couch, in the same spot I watch them beat Michigan, and do exactly what I did all season. Scream, Rant, Rave, and in general forget that I am a lady for three hours and cuss like a sailor.

All I can say is it is a Damn good day to be a Buckeye. Win or lose this team embodies what it means to play like champions. Good luck guys, show the world why The Ohio State Buckeyes are number 1!!

finally dozed off sometime after 6 AM... woke up at 9:40... the next 7 hours are going to take about 4 years...

no doubt... why couldn't there be some coverage for this game? it's been the same Animal bit on ESPiN for 12 hours, and NOTHING on Fox Sports... this blows.

I've heard FBA's Buckeye Anthem about 40 times today. I played it especially loud when there were two gators talking outside my office (removed the headphone jack).

I'm so amped up that I'll probably call my wife as soon as I get my son home from day-care/therapy. She'll have to get home and take over. I've GOT to get to the Alumni Game Watch location just as soon as I can. It's a small place (Red Hill's Cafe in Tallahassee) with only a 37 inch TV, so I wanna get a seat at the bar.

I want their Cincinnati style chilli (owned by an Ohio guy), but the nerves have already got the heartburn set on 'simmer'. May have to give that a pass today.

No beer for me tonight (driving); but that's OK. Appreciating the game with a clear head is a good thing. I want this memory to be etched into living neurons, never to be erased.

I don't think that it's FOX so much as it is the championship game being pushed back a week. Having the Title Game a week after the New Year bowl window and after the NFL playoffs start is foolish. The CFB season is completely out of momentum.

i don't think that i can properly vebalize how disappointing the coverage for this game is... ESPiN is going so far out of their way to NOT cover it that now they are rehashing McGwire and Sosa's homerun battle in 1998...

this is fucking bullshit.

game day is finally here. That sure was a long time between games. I woke up this morning with gameday jitters(like I do before every big game). It's been a great season now lets finish it like champions. Since I live in Florida, I have been catching hell all week about SEC speed.
