Ah, after the long wait it's finally here, and I'm really looking forward to the game. I have great confidence that you guys will make utter mincemeat out of those ugly reptiles, but just wanted to extend a good luck wish regardless.

I always get fired up by reading (or watching) the 'experts' tell me why OSU is going to lose...

Three of the four hacks on 'Around the Horn' and Mark May (shock!) have made my day! :biggrin:

I don't mean to detract from the well-wishes extended to the Buckeye community, so apologies in advance.

Given Michigan's abysmal showing against USC, I cannot fathom how anyone could still mention a rematch. We didn't even demonstrate that we belonged in Pasadena, so I'm rather at a loss to understand why we'd belong in Glendale. Ohio State would have eaten us alive, as I expect they'll do to Florida this evening.

As I said, Michigan is intimidated by USC. They always are. UM never comes out flat against OSU like they do against USC.

How can I mention a rematch? We just barely lost the OSU game because of a Shawn Crable late hit. Had that not happened, it would have been 4th down, and OSU was not going to go for it. Michigan would have had the ball back with plenty of time to score. And the way the team played in the second half, they had the momentum.

Would Michigan beat OSU in a rematch? We'll never know.
Was the USC game in any way indicative of how Michigan would have played against OSU? Not in the slightest.

Do we deserve a rematch? At this point, no.
Did I say we deserve a rematch? Sure didn't.
Did I say we should have been in this game instead of Florida? Yes.
Should we be in this game instead of Florida? Yes.

The USC game should have never occurred.

Regardless, I want OSU to walk all over Florida tonight. I don't want a close game, I want a ruthless annihilation.
