Don't. This is the last time you'll be able to see your Bucks play a game until September. I didn't leave the ass kicking NIU got until it was over. I even sat in my seat for another 15 minutes.

This team gave you a helluva season. No reason yo hang your head. This is the team you loved all season, and for guys like Smith, Ginn, etc. it's the last time you'll ever see them in a Buckeye uniform.

The only thing that has me disappointed in our players is the way they're carrying themselves right now. If you're going to lose, fine... but shoot, right now it seems they've just thrown the towel in.
I'm very disappointed in the staff though. Seems like there is no legit gameplan or adjustments...

2 year analysis:

Have we beaten anyone meaningful? We lost to the 2 best teams we played last year.. we beat notre dame which can't beat anyone and wasnt deserving of fiesta bowl last year. We beat texas this year at their crib but come on they lost a lot including a starting qb and how did they fair the rest of the year? We won a shootout with michigan in the shoe but then they play a real opponent in USC and get waxed!

My point is we weren't really that good this year. Analyze our schedule and the big 10 as a whole.

I want to thank Troy Smith for making saturdays exciting the past 2 years. Also if Ginn decides to go pro then good luck, you are a great talent. To the others, shut up and play, tonight proves your not good enough for the next level
Wow... did you come over from Bucknuts? :shake:

One game does not prove that this group is terrible or that we haven't beaten anyone meaningful... it just shows that even very good teams have bad games once in a while.

The worst part there is no next week..we all will have to live with this taste in our mouth till fall. I cannot believe the domination at the line of scrimmage. I've been dissapointed before to Rose Bowls my junior and senior year when we were favored and lost, but this has to be worse, I assumed JT and TS would be over prepared not under-prepared. Celebtate Floridas great play and go back and re-group for next year.

If we were going to lose, I'm glad it went down like this. There was no heartbreak. The better team won tonight. There was no doubt. Our boys played hard, played their best. It simply wasn't enough today. I remain ever proud of our Buckeyes. Let's shake their hands and go home hoping next year is better. Let us not forget the many things this team has given us to be proud of!

No, this is more like the 1998 Sugar Bowl, where Florida State rolled the Buckeyes, 31-14, and it wasn't even that close. Ohio State's o-line got beat up and down the field that night, and Joe Germaine had the old "deer in the headlights" look. Hey, it happens sometimes.

The Buckeyes look like a team who thought that the season ended after the Michigan game.

good call...at least I believe FSU was favored in that game....this has been like a blindside. I still can't believe it's happening. Troy Smith walking off the field with a 40 pt loss? This is Tressel's team out there? Painful....mostly painful you go 12-0 and finally lose 1 game like this.
