Oregon State, Colorado, Vandy, Kentucky, Purdue, Wake Forrest, etc don't sweat it B12, there is plenty of hot garbage to schedule that are technically Power 5 schools.

They'd have to get more teams for the conference first. Houston would be an OK add, I suppose (and I hear they're trying like hell to get a B12 offer), but they'd still need one more... I suppose BYU is available, but I don't think they're interested.

Houston seems like a natural fit given their old SWC ties. Hell, Rice and SMU share that lineage as well. Snatch them up.

Houston has been a solid program for a while now. I don't expect Herman will be there long, but they've done a good job of finding good young coaches. Pre-Herman, two of the last three have moved on to do notable things at Power-5 schools...Briles and Sumlin. I suspect Houston could hold their own.

I agree with you. I don't mean on the field. The ankle holding comes when Tejas gets more money than the other members of the conference.
