Just remembered one of the more eclectic ones:

Les Stroud

Yes THAT Les Stroud, aka Survivorman.

Dude is one HELL of a harmonica player.

Haha, are you watching the Survivorman marathon?

I ask because I just looked up Stroud's music about three minutes ago. Then I get on and see your post. :p

Yep. I love the show, actually I've enjoyed all the shows he's done. The documentary about his off grid homestead is probably my favorite.

He's a really cool guy to talk to as well if you ever get the opportunity.

Went up to Denver to see Springsteen Friday night and as usual, he brought down the house. I saw him six years ago on "The Rising" tour and think this may have been his best yet. Amazing live show, even if you're not a big Springsteen fan and get the chance to see him live, don't pass it up. It's an experience. They played for a hair under three hours with a ton of energy...I don't know how they do it. Here's what I remember of the setlist:

1. Badlands
2. THE TIES THAT BIND
3. Outlaw Pete
4. Out In The Street
5. Working On A Dream
6. Seeds
7. Johnny 99
8. Youngstown (nice surprise being born and bred in the Mahoning Valley)
9. TOUGHER THAN THE REST
10. Darlington County
11. THE E STREET SHUFFLE (a request sign)
12. Prove It All Night
13. Waiting On A Sunny Day
14. The Promised Land
15. The Wrestler
16. RACING IN THE STREETS (a request sign)
17. Kingdom of Days
18. Lonesome Day
19. The Rising
20. Born To Run (with the entire audience singing along to every word)

21. Hard Times
22. Thunder Road
23. Tenth Avenue Freezeout
24. Land Of Hope & Dreams
25. American Land
26. Glory Days (for nearly ten minutes...seemed like they didn't want the night to end.)

Fucking fantastic show.

[censored]ing awesome. it was hazy

I was there too...I've see him live about 10 times and that show was very different than anything else I've seen. The new takes on a couple of older songs with Dub Trio were pretty cool. And Matisyahu taking a dive into the crowd was pretty cool...
