ESPN: Bracketology....#1 Illinois, #1 scUM, #2 Ohio State, and #2 Iowa.

Just sayin': If the B1G gets 4 teams in the top 8 (as projected), no conference has done that before.

It's a phenomenal experience. I'm glad they're enjoying it.”

I believe Illinois is the best team in the B1G this season. Gonna be a tough one today, but OSU has been playing like a highly motivated team. None of these Buckeyes have ever won a B1G championship of any kind, and this is their chance.

Well, let's see if this team can avoid its habit of letting the other team up off the mat the last ten minutes of the game. Another minute or two in the game yesterday, and the tsun wins. I don't think the last ten minute yips of bad ball handling and stupid fouls bodes well for the next tournament.

I think OSU should finish in the #7 spot regardless, meaning a team like Houston should be in Gonzaga's region. I would like to think geography means nothing and they will be very close to a stricly competitive balance-led bracket. There's nothing preventing OSU from sharing a region with UM or Illinois.

Our late game Groundhog's Day disaster loop antics have made it easy to dwell on the negatives for a lot of our fans.

But you know what? We've battled through a weird and grueling pandemic season in the toughest conference in the country with our roster plagued by health and injury issues to earn a 2-seed and we are playing in the BTT Championship game today. Yesterday we beat 1-seed scUM with exactly one former T100 recruit available to us. We have beaten every team we've played this season at least once.

I am not gonna take this season for granted, no matter what happens from here out.

Would be asking a lot to continue the run and bring this one home, but I won't count this team out against anyone with the way they play together. We've beat Illinois once and we can do it again. Let's go boys, bring home that 'ship!

Also, is there a remote chance we snag a 1 seed if we beat Illinois. I had assumed we're locked into a 2 seed no matter what if we won the first two games...I know we've got a lot of losses to grab a 1 seed, but we've got a hell of a lot of great wins and played in easily the toughest conference. Then IF (big IF) we beat scUM and Illinois back to back without one of our best players? I think there's at least a conversation to be had. Either way, just going to try and enjoy this one, and see where the cards fall.
