In what will go down as one of the greatest Big Ten tournament runs in Ohio State history, Washington dropped 16 points on Minnesota, 20 points on Purdue, 24 points on Michigan, then 32 points on Illinois. He made a combined 34-of-67 shots, including 16-of-36 from 3-point range. Despite ultimately falling just short, Washington made a legitimate case to be named the Big Ten Tournament's Most Outstanding Player – which went to Dosunmu.

Yeah, the effort of coming back vs Illinois and taking them into OT was great. However cumulatively, with 4 games in 4 days we actually got four of them. The entire overall effort they put out through all four games really makes me feel good about this team going into the NCAA tournament.

Feel that. Watched the game at my local sports bar here in town where everyone gives me shit as a Buckeyes fan. Everyone today pretty much said what I was thinking, which was that they fought like hell and are the real deal. I'm damn proud of this team and we're making a deep run in the tourney, bank on that. What a great season, insanely proud of this team all year and that was a really fun weekend. Not our best day but we never have up and kept pressing until the very end. Can't wait for the tourney.
