Eye to the future, honoring the past
There will be much wailing and gnashing of teeth in Lincoln, Nebraska, tonight.
Most people are not surprised at the outcome of this game. Many saw this coming, after 4 comebacks this year.
You had to think that Bucky wasn't going to be as easy the second time around.
Unfortunately, for many, they drank the Big Game Bo Kool-Aid and thought there was going to be a win.
Fraid not.
I have to apologize for the antics of the Nebraska Cornchokers this evening. We have played in 3 CCGs and the closest we got to winning one was a half inch away from hitting out of bounds.
This will continue to happen as long as we have a QB who doesn't take care of the ball.
This will continue to happen as long as we have a head coach who is insistant on running a Big 12 style offense.
This will continue to happen as long as we have a head coach who doesn't change some things on his staff.
Yes, we got to the CCG. And, on cue, performed one of the biggest choke jobs in Big Ten history.
On behalf of frustrated Husker fans who have a lifetime invested in this,
