Snapping an 80-year outright Big Ten title drought will require Indiana to defeat the most competent defense in college football of the last 80 years.![]()
Ohio State vs. Indiana Preview: College Football's Two Best Teams Wage War for Big Ten Title, Heisman Trophy
Snapping a five-year Big Ten title drought will require Ohio State to defeat the most complete team in college football other than itself.www.elevenwarriors.com
They are also the best defense we face do the first part of the game might be ugly till we get our sea legs under us. But as Jax said teams for years have been playing us take away explosives and drive the field. This team is perfectly willing to do that unlike some prior teamsGame is simple to me. And I’m probably an idiot, but… the three best defenses, really the closest talent equated games Mendoza and IU were in, were dogfights. And he was not himself. Iowa, and Penn State, even Oregon, ain’t us.
I will be absolutely floored if we don’t cruise with (relative) ease here. But hey I’m just a dumb fan, probably wrong, who knows.
I said 56-3 or something last week so im gonna go with...holding firm at 34-17 Bucks. Last weekend i felt like itd be 28-13 Bucks so i wasnt too far off....

Yep IU's offense is very read option based which has issues and can break down against good D'sThe thing they may be able to do is create pressure up the middle. That would be the single biggest thing, to me, to watch for from any opponent here on out. Can they get interior pressure and play 2 deep behind it...consistently?
If so, the our offense will have issues because now we are playing behind the sticks, into known/compressed passing windows because the RPO game is taken away and our deep crossers and seam throws are gone.
That said, IU's offense still has to deal with the OSU defense and it's bad match up for them for the reasons I stated earlier.
Take away chaos on special teams (just uneventful ST with good field position will do), avoid turnovers and protect Sayin up the middle and this game will be out of reach for IU mid 3rd quarter if that script is playing out and they are down 2+ scores.
Let's fuckin go. I'm sorry but Indi-fuckin-ana is going to get absolutely mollywhopped. Gonna be dancing on their goddamned graves by the start of the 4th Quarter.
I heard an IU beat writer say that Texas, Penn State, UM had good DLs, but Ohio State hadn’t seen a DL like Indiana’s yet this season. They still have a starter and key rotation player from JMU on that line. I think Ohio State will be okay.IU beat writer just predicted 31-28 IU. How in the fuck is IU scoring 31??? Am I missing something about OSU’s defense??
