Automatic or manual transmission?

That's why they make my suv bigger than your little grocery getter. The car in front of me does the stopping for me. It's kinda like a added e-brake.

Automatic for me.
I looked at new trucks when they had the family plan and unless you are buying the cheapest, plainest, utility model you would have to special order to get a manual transmission.

It has been a while since I have driven in snow and longer since I have driven a manual but it was much easier to get out of a skid and correct with a stick. I could not imagine driving a stick in day to day commuter traffic.

I've got one of each. I've got a Z3 that is a stick. When I was looking to buy it, I saw a bunch of sports cars that were automatic. Who in the hell buys a sports car with an automatic?

actually Thump in most High end sportscars Manuals are more expensive. I think it has something to do with them being racing transmissions.
