Sorry if this is a dumb question, but I've not seen it covered anywhere: Do D-1 scholarship athletes get their travel costs covered from home to school? For an Ohio student athlete traveling to California, for example, that's got to be a consideration if they have to foot those expenses. If they come home for winter break you've got to figure at least a couple trips per year.

They do for visits at the least. Also, I know that my cousin that got a merit scholarship to CalTech got her plane fees covered by the school from Cal to Pennsylvania for I think twice a year, so most likely schools also cover the cost for D1 athletes. And dude, its USC... even if they say they don't, we all know USC pays for everything.

However, main thing is the school won't pay for his parents flying there every saturday to see him play. In my opinion he's still a Buckeye!

(BTW, I guaranteed some pompous USC dude on Bleacherreport that he's coming to OSU so I really need you to come here Aundrey)
