Falcons will deal a 6th round pick in 2012 to acquire Samuel. He will re-structure his deal to make it more incentive based.

I absolutely love this deal. He's got two excellent seasons left in him and we have insurance next year if Grimes decides to walk.

asante samuel hasn't been excellent in a very long time. it's a good deal for atlanta, but he's not very good anymore.

Not to put too fine a point on it, but the Falcons put all the motherfuckers in the NFC on notice today.

Vick and the Eagles? Gayer than a soup sandwich
San Fran? Talk to me when you can complete a pass you kid touchers
New Orleans? Nuts on the chin for years and this is the year Drew Breese career is ended on a tackle by Akeem Dent
Detroit? Get fucked. I mean it...you and Nick Fairley can die in a fire.

The Falcons arent fucking around this year. SUPERBOWL!

well, to be accurate, it would be julio being more productive than greg little + phil taylor + #22 pick + whoever cleveland takes with atlanta's 4th rounder.

and, as far as productivity goes, chew on the following:

atlanta scored more points per game in 2010 without jones. they scored more points per game in 2011 when jones didn't play due to injury. they were 3-0 this year without him and 6-8 with him.

Yeah, I'd take Julio...
