ATH Frank Epitropoulos (transfer to Michigan St)

Upper Arlington totally overpowered Hilliard Darby. I dont know if this was Frank Epitropoulos's first game back or not but he looked very good even in the horrible weather conditions. He was lined up against Caleb Day and he burnt him on every play. Frank showed great hands and great seperations from DB's and he was laying out all over the place making diving catches. I came away very impressed. But on a side note Caleb Day is not very good.

On the sixth play of the third quarter, David Smith threw a 53-yard touchdown pass to Frank Epitropoulos.

Smith also tossed an 11-yard touchdown pass to Epitropoulos less than five minutes later to make it 26-0.

Epitropoulos had four catches for 84 yards and two scores, after missing three games with a thumb injury.

"It was nice having Frank back," Golden said. "You're not always going to make a perfect throw, but Frank's an outstanding athlete and he made some nice plays for us."

Upper Arlington 19, Dublin Coffman 13

"It's real special for us. No one here has ever been to the playoffs," said UA wide receiver Frank Epitropoulos, whose team finished the regular season 8-2 overall and 6-1 in the OCC-Central Division. "We had a (playoff) drought for a little bit, but we finally did it."

Epitropoulos scored on a 36-yard touchdown catch on UA's first possession of the second half, making two Coffman defenders miss at the 20-yard line before running for the score to make it 10-6 with 10:36 left in the third quarter.

With the Southward commitment and Caleb coming in next weekend for an official, it looks like Epi's future may be on the defensive side of the ball along with punting. I'm not opposed to having him do both. (It may be whether UM closes on Caleb or not)

It will be interesting to see how Meyer treats Epitropoulos.

With our vast inconsistency at the wr position, we need to bring in as many receivers as we can to help Miller with us losing posey. None of our receivers have shown they can catch consistently produce, IMO, Smith is our best returning wr. I wouldn't mind bringing in as many wrs as we can and letting their play sort out the PT
