Off topic. IT Crowd is soooo good. So good!
Any idea of his salary in Jax?
Terms of his contract in Jacksonville were not made public.
Just want you guys to know, I’m getting my citronella and torches ready if the CB’s have a bad game this week.
I typically don’t post during games, so if there’s a long pass given up this weekend just ban me and I’ll find out when I come back after the game.
I’m telling myself the CB play has been a result of growing pains. More time in the system will work it out with the players, or they’ll find players that work in the system.
Well, time to give Coach Walton some credit, got dealt a hand with no starters and JK and J Brown played remarkably well imo in their first meaningful action. I don't care if Wisky's offense isn't a top offense, to lock down their WRs like we did without our starters is impressive. Even before the Wisky game I was in your camp, had to give a little time before anyone could panic on the CBs. I mean, we all know Burke is a star and was just having some early struggles, and Brown has been steady when healthy, so no reason to panic. Glad the young pups got some real action and learning experience, hopefully our DBs will be back healthy this week but it was reassuring to see the young guys play so well.
I have to come back and give Walton some props. The two youngins played well against Wisconsin. Had those guys ready.
Also credit to Knowles for playing a lot of bracket and cone coverage to give them help at times allowing them to play with more confidence.
Great coaching all around.
https://www.si.com/college/ohiostat...mbs-will-not-return-to-buckeyes-staff-in-2022The 60-year-old Coombs just finished the second season of his second stint with the Buckeyes and there was mutual interest in him returning next year as a position coach after the program hired Oklahoma State’s Jim Knowles as its new defensive coordinator.
However, the reported hiring of Cincinnati’s Perry Eliano as the new safeties coach and Jacksonville Jaguars' secondary coach Tim Walton as the new cornerbacks coach ended any hope of that happening.
