I Heart Boobs
Anybody pick it up? I was skeptical for months before it came out, but once I played it.......it may get my vote for game of the year. Story is amazing, control is as close to perfect as it can get with all the interaction available. Graphics, best on 360 yet, hands down.

playing it last night... to sum it up; incredible. especially the kills, when your surrounded by guards and you go into the defensive stance, its very satisfying. the 4 cities are well layed out and the game looks great on an HDTV.

How does the overall playability compare to Oblivion? Is it similar, with many small quests inside of a large quest or what? I guess I'm looking for a good game comparison or description. It looks and sounds like a good game, but I am just trying to understand it better.

In all honesty, there were a couple side quests: however it wasnt my game, I was at a friends house and he picked it up. I played for a couple hours just going around jumping off buildings and killing people. The control and gameplay were great; I wouldnt compare it to oblivion in that respect, but the open ended environment is something I can parallel to I guess.

PS3 review

Compared to oblivion, it is not as expansive (yes the levels are huge) your story is laid out and you follow it. I actually am peeved by the story, you are basically laying in a doctors table remebering your ancestors (the game you are playing) memories... thats nit picking tho - it leaves for an interesting sequel.

Game play is the best fucking part... I love being able to free walk the city (look up 'free walking' on you tube) this is not the tightest feeling controls in a game but the controls you have are great (assinations on rooftop guards is so freaking good... sneaking up from behind on an archer and stabbing them from behind with your wrist knives). Dont expect amazing combat interaction though - L1 - R1 and square are the only combat controls.

The only bad part (dont let this be a distractor from at least trying the game) is it was definitely not a finished product. There are many instances of glimmering, artifacts, wall clipping and walking/putting limbs through characters. I like to believe this was in response to the shear size of the game and the pressure to not get pushed back again.

As a gamer and ignoring details = 9 out of 10
as a non-biased reviewer taking in music/art/glitches and distractors = 8 out of 10

Because of secondary objectives and taking my time... I have around 15 hours on this game already and think I am about half way through it.

Make time to play though, once you start hours pass you by like they are only minutes.

I noticed some of the same, but I honestly have to say, with how open ended and interactive everything is, I think they did a pretty damn good job.

IGN's review didn't seem like a very good review to me. IGN is good at making the flaws sound overpowering.

I played it for a little while last night on the PS3. I liked it a lot. The only complaint that I have is that I want more options. It's one of those games that you could play for the story and enjoy, though.

8/10 is accurate, I'd go a little higher with it, though. Definitely worth buying, not sure how much replay value it will have.

Would others concur? Sounds like a prime candidate for a Blockbuster rental (where you get about 5-6 weeks until you own it and cannot return)
