A situation in which the police detain a person in a manner that, to any reasonable person, makes it clear she is not free to leave. A person can be "under arrest" even though the police have not announced it; nor are handcuffs or physical restraint necessary. Questioning an arrested person about her involvement in or knowledge of a crime must be preceded by the Miranda warnings if the police intend to use the answers against the person in a criminal case. If the arrested person chooses to remain silent, the questioning must stop. </TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

You'll notice the word OR in there a few times..
Again Lloyd, although you can spin this to fit your needs....

Your implication was that Haw was taken into custody...that kind of arrested.

Yes, according to the definition, you are correct to use the terminology. However, according to your contextual usage, you were wrong.

Keep spinning though. I'm being careful not to piss you off though, after all, you are the 3rd biggest guy on this board:roll2:

Wow dude.. of all people.. you get into a debate and you are the first one to start throwing insults at another..

I'm so glad to be associated... :roll2:
Insults? Christ I was making light of the situation...if I wanted to throw insults, I believe I would have come with something better after all of the fodder you have provided lately.

Get your thong out of your ass now...

Tibor's the only one who lets his donkey's wear thongs...

That and I haven't provided any fodder lately.. everyone else seems to be digging it up on me and just deciding to share it with everyone else.

I have a rhetorical question.

My son signs a contract with his school that he will not use drugs, alcohol or smoke during the season. If he gets caught he is first suspended for 2 weeks, a second offence he is done. I like the rule and it keeps the kids under controll.

Does OSU have such a contract?

Also, if this was the offseason (and I believe it is) do the same standards apply? In High School there is no team punishment for off season offences.

This is the most ignorant statement I have read on this thread...

I am 21 years old. Want to know why I don't smoke pot? Because I'd rather stay out of jail, and not have to write it down on my job applications when I get out.

I've seen people lose their jobs because they didn't disclose things such as this.
this clearly shows that you meant arrested as in thrown in jail. going by context, grad is the winner.
