You make a very compelling argument for Arizona State.

Though Edwards never had a losing season, he entered the 2022 campaign very firmly on the hot seat. So much so, according to Haller, that people inside the athletic department were loose with team intel in the hopes of inducing a coaching change.

From Haller’s report:

An opposing coach recently told The Athletic that it wasn’t hard to get intel on this season’s team because some within Arizona State athletics wanted a coaching change.

Might be a lot less pressure on Frost at a place like ASU. He obviously has proven he can coach. Sometimes getting your hat handed too you humbles oneself. I’m sure there are some lessons learned from his time at corn. Fertile recruiting grounds. ASU could be a great landing place for him to revitalize his career.

Did those lessons include putting down the margaritas and showing up to recruiting meetings at a kid’s house?

Frost showed that like Herman and a number of other coaches who had quick G5 success, that it doesn’t always translate when the pressure is cranked up to a national scale. Frost would do well if ASU joined the WAC
