Trying to kill some time at work, see there's some ASU thread activity, get excited about seeing hot chicks...and all I get is two pages of uniform talk :shake:

If someone has time to play with photoshop they should be using it on pictures of CHEERLEADERS. Stick to what you're good at ASU. Only homo's (not that there is anything wrong with that) chopshop pictures of dudes...

The reaction on the ASU board is similar to what I'm hearing here (some like it and some don't). You don't normally see a USC, Florida, Penn State, tOSU etc.. mess with the tradition of uniforms. On the other hand, ASU doesn't have a tradition of winning and therefore, the uniform change is probably good and a little exciting. ASU needs to spark more interest in their program and a change in uniform would provide that for a very short while.

I think the homo who photoshopped the uniforms did a pretty good job.

Maybe more hot ASU chicks next week.

SHHHH!!! It is the shocker, but we pretend it's a pitchfork so we can get away with flashing it on national television. Then when you tell an ASU girl you are going to give her a pitchfork, she accepts it better than telling her you are going to give her a shocker. :evil:

The style of the uniform wouldn't necessarily bother me (I'd have to see it) so long as we're not talking some stupid curved scarlet stripe up the sides or something along those lines.

The day I see OSU in a fucking black jersey - or worse yet, all black unis - I'll realize they no longer need my donations. (Probably don't need 'em anyway, but it would be my futile, symbolic protest). :pissed:

After spanking previously undefeated Stanford 90-60, the Sun Devils (12-1) basketball team takes on 12-2 Cal tonight at Cal. ASU already has their best start since 1975 and is ranked in the top 20.

Rivals has James Harden listed as the top small forward in the nation as a true sophomore.

West Recruiting Blog - ESPN

Burfict is yet another USC commit who has opened up the process a little. The Trojans main competition for Burfict is Arizona State and this one is much closer than people think. Many have said ASU is a backup plan in case Burfict doesn't qualify but the Sun Devils have a real shot regardless of his academic standing.

Burfict has a great relationship with the Sun Devil coaching staff and said ASU is recruiting him the hardest right now. He also has three former teammates who signed with ASU a year ago plus current teammate Will Sutton has committed to the Sun Devils this year. Burfict may visit ASU this weekend although he's playing in a local all-star game and will also trip to USC later this month. I still think the Trojans hold on here but I think it's going to be a real battle.

ASU has 3 of the top 15 national recruits (Rivals) coming in this month for visits.

Devon Kennard(6), Randall Carroll(12) and Vontaze Burfict(15)

I'm not getting my hopes up for any of them, but it's nice to see Erickson atleast in the running for some 5 star guys. tOSU fans should root heavily for ASU to land these guys because Carroll & Burfict are already soft USC commits and Kennard is a USC lean.

Finishing up 2009 Recruiting

To the 1, 2 or 3 other ASU fans on this website, we have a chance to land a couple big fish on or before 2/4/09.

Priority #1 obviously being Vontaze Burfict (soft SUC commit). He's been quiet since his visit to SUC this past weekend and I can only imagine that's good news because he didn't solidify his commitment to SUC. Cheatey Petey didn't close him hard enough and he might be there fore the taking. Friends and mom want him at ASU, so there is a legitimate chance he will be our starting MLB this upcoming season. He would be as good of a get as Kennard would have been.

Priority #2 is Randall Carroll (soft SUC commit). One of the best wide receivers in the nation. We have a lot of good WR's (some unproven but projected to be good), but this guy is too good not to take. Supposedly he doesn't buy Cheatey Petey's line of crap and rumor is mom won't sign his LOI if he ends up wanting to stay with SUC. Mom wants him at UCLA but he really likes our WR coach (Eric Yarber) who coached Chad Johnson and TJ Houshmanzada.

Priority #3 is probably another OT. None really in the recruiting pipeline, but ASU is hoping to flip Charles Ragland from Cal. We need OL help bad, especially at OT.

Got a couple guys visiting this weekend. One DT (Justin Brown) and a MLB (Eric Martin).

Got a few other guys on the backburner in case these guys don't pan out. We need Erickson to pretend he's Alec Baldwin in Glengarry Glen Ross and get his guys to CLOSE!! "Coffee's for closers only!!!"

Finally some good news on the ASU recruiting front. Vontaze Burfict will be a Sun Devil tomorrow when he faxes in his LOI. He committed to ASU on Thursday and tried to keep it quiet until tomorrow, but the USC staff let it slip and now it's all over the USC/ASU media. Way to ruin his big surprise USC!!!!!! Vontaze Burfict is ASU's highest out-of-state recruit in recent memory - maybe ever - probably ever. Woo hoo!!!!

No, I don't have a link, so you will just have to believe me until tomorrow morning.
