For those ASU fans out there, we got 3 more commits this weekend.
Rivals ratings*

Jamal Miles 4* RB from Peoria HS
Will Sutton 3* DT from Centennial HS in CA (teammate of 5* Vontaze Burfict who will hopefully switch from USC to ASU).
LeQuan Lewis 3* CB transfer from Cerritos JC

Kemonte Bateman also qualified from 2008 recruiting class 4* WR who will enroll in January.

I think ASU has 8 more scholi's to offer in 2009. We need 3 OL bad, preferably OT's. Erickson still has some big names on his board, so hopefully he can close them.

Let's put overrated on the back burner for now. Do you think they look good? ASU is considering coming out with a new black uniform and some ASU guy photoshopped this picture to guess what they might look like if they do indeed come out with a black uniform.

i don't know man. black is black no matter who wears it. i think it looks sharp, but its pretty played out. if it were my team i probably wouldn't support it.

Thanks for feedback. Like I said, it was just some guy photoshopping it so I don't know what they would really look like, but it sounds like a strong possibility ASU will come out with some sort of black uniform next year. Maybe they wear the black jersey with their gold pants? Who knows. I will post a picture if I can get a hold of the real deal.

With maroon pants?

I love certain black unis. Very few can hang with the Ravens in that regard.

For the most part, there are some teams who look good in black (not many), but very few look good on a regular basis. The Ravens are simply intimidating with their unis and style of play.

I simply don't think they work that well here. For OSU, black unis would look interesting (as long as they brought back the old reflective pants), but would pale in comparison to the regular look.

OK tOSU fans, take a step back for a second and forget that I said ASU might come out with black jerseys.

Now, imagine that you heard tOSU was going to come out with a cool new uniform (black, new design.. whatever the new look might be) to switch it up on occassion. Are you telling me you wouldn't be the least bit excited to see what they look like and who are you going to wear them against and what store can you pick one up at?

Recruits like those crazy uniforms that Oregon wears. Don't ask me why, but they do. I'm not claiming that recruits commit strictly off of uniform, but they definitely aren't hurting Oregon.

After ASU's recruits left this weekend, many of them were talking about the new style of uniform ASU was going to wear. They were excited about it because Dennis Erickson showed them what they might look like.

So would you be excited to hear that tOSU was going to change it up (uniform style) a little bit on certain games in a year?

Never. Gonna. Happen.

OSU fans were pissed off a couple years ago when they took the gray stripes off the sleeves. I still wish they would switch back. I have two OSU jerseys, one with the "pride stripes", and one without. I haven't worn the one without since I found the classic one on ebay.
