Jackson-Davis said that the team was too focused on set-oriented play last season which led to stagnant stretches at times and hindered the players’ ability to utilize their game.

Indiana finished below average in KenPom’s adjusted tempo on offense while shooting below average in 3s, 2s and free throws.

Rhode Island basketball hiring ex-Indiana coach Archie Miller, per report

Rhode Island is hired former Indiana head men's basketball coach Archie Miller for the same position with the Rams, a report Thursday evening by CBS Sports’ Matt Norlander confirmed. Miller was previously the head coach at Dayton for six seasons from 2011-16 before coaching the Hoosiers for four years from 2017-20.
