Nokia has a new phone coming out. It has an MP3, email/internet, and a 5 mega pixel camera in it. That's pretty impressive. They haven't come to an agreement with any American carriers yet. Looks amazing. The thing the iphone is going to do for all phone companies is raise the threshold for prices. Everyone is going to start coming out with $400 plus phones. I think this Nokia is going to cost 500 or more.

Its called the N95. This is from a computer magazine, "including a 5 megapixel camera, integrated GPS, 802.11g WiFi, HSDPA, microSD, 150MB of internal memory and pretty much any other spec you could ever care to have stuffed into your phone by a Finnish "multimedia computer" manufacturer"

I had 1 year warranties on most of my equipment. As far as continuing insurance, I don't yet but am planning on getting it, especially once I buy my next lens. I don't consider my current arrangement to be responsible. I fail to see what this has to do with my question, iam.

I wouldn't buy an iphone, but if I did, I sure would insure it.

i'm not baiting, you are the one getting worked up - my point was telling Bleed S&G that if he would be carrying a $500 phone that he needs to be responsible and not have the extra beers and get stupid

now if your like me and have the occasional drop or one too many to drink, this is not a good thing for a $500 phone or whatever

AT&T has had 6 million inquires regarding this phone and internally believe that one million will be sold in the first couple of weeks. In addition to the purchase price they also believe that the typical customer will also purchase $250 worth of accessories. AT&T has a five year exclusive agreement with Apple to market the phone.

Have you never dropped your phone, brutus?

My point was a pretty simple one... if I burn half a thousand dollars on a phone, I think it should be insured. Dropping a clamshell phone is one thing, dropping a mini PC is another.

You took us on a tangent about my photo equipment, which still has nothing to do with the iphone. It does have something to do with making a point about me, hence my 'leading/baiting' comment.
