Anyone capable of discussing gas without politics? Anyone?

Oil is in a bear market. Down well over 20% from recent high.

I keep waiting for prices at the pump to drop the same percentage. I'm sure any minute they will!

Bear market? Not sure where you got that information. This is from the WSJ:

5 Day up 11.90%
1 Month up 24.68%
3 Month up 57.20%
YTD up 53.68%
1 Year up 98.75%

Increasing at a lower rate is not a bear market. Oil futures are even higher.

Under $4 a gallon around me.

Me too as recently as today, but this thread getting created because of - OMG, $2 a gallon - gets funnier each day.

Governments printing cash like water, everything else going up, but for some reason gasoline should remain the same. Weird.

Well, it appears there is some gas at $3.55 on my way to where I'm going this morning, I'll be taking advantage of that for my 3rd $100 tank of fuel for April. (Will be the last one though... )
