True enough!
Just tie sausages to the runners' ankles, and release the hounds!

Guilty as charged! I often bribe myself to get in my runs. For this weekend, some friends are running the half-marathon with me and we are planning on having a mighty party afterward! Mmmm, fried clams and beer (and wine and ice cream and . . .)!OSUsushichic;848096; said:Meh, you're just doing it for the fried clams and beer afterwards. :p

Good luck this weekend! Is your race hilly like the marathon?

Sounds like you're ready to go! I'm resting yesterday and today, then I have one more easy 2 miler tomorrow to warm up for Saturday morning.

I guess 13.1 miles isn't as far as I once imagined.

Honestly, the half is a great distance. It doesn't give your body the pounding that a full marathon (and the training leading up to it) does, but it's plenty long to give a nice sense that you accomplished something big.
