any guitar players here?

Nah, I always thought lefties were cool. (For the record, by the way, Golfer, I am not left handed, though I like to think I'm at least somewhat left hand coordinated, or at the very least, not left hand retarded.)

Golfer does have a point, though. If you've never played, why not learn right handed? It's such a different activity than anything else anyway, that I don't know that it would be much more difficult. The biggest disadvantage I see to playing left handed is that it would be a rare occasion when you could pick up someone else's guitar and play.

Dual handed...I love it

Seriously though, just learn it right handed since you've never done it. Finding left handed guitars can be a pain in the ass as well.

I also have a Martin acoustic, no pics of it though.

Nice!

Saw, is the Transparent Wine Les Paul Studio the one on the bottom right? That looks pimp.
My freaking electric is broken, the ground wire fell off the jack, and I dont have a soldering iron here and that makes me mad.
Acoustic is a cheap Yamaha, but it sounds decent.

Yes...That's it...

What's funny is I have just gotten done gear heading on the Les Paul. I paid a visit to the Guitar Center earlier tonight with my buddy who was buying a new Jackson. I found a few things as well. Ever since I bought the Les Paul (3 or 4 years ago), I thought the black didn't do justice to the flamed maple finish. It made it too dark, IMO. So I decided to tear the thing down and replace the black with cream to make the finish stick out more...Hey, when I get bored with this color, I can always go back to the black...Here's some new pics...Tell me what you think...The pickups and bridge are chrome even though they look gold in the one pic...

EDIT: After reading back through this thread again, I am declaring a new rule. Just like pics are required when mentioning a chick, pics are now required when mentioning your guitar. I am somewhat of a guitar collector at this point, at least that's how I justify owning six :p (4 electrics & 2 acoustics). I want to see your guitars!!!

No guitar thread is complete without a shot of Michael Angelo from Nitro:

...or a picture of this...If IIRC, these guitars were going for somewhere around $25,000. This is NOT a paintjob. It is all inlay...

The Dragon 2002 is Paul Reed Smith's most aggressive inlay to date with a dragons head covering more than 85% of the body and part of the Brazilian rosewood neck. The Dragon 2002 is a Singlecut model with 272 pieces inlay consisting of 12 different types of shell, 5 different stones and fossilized mastodon ivory. There are only 100 of these remarkable instruments being crafted in this limited run. Ours is #27 and it's available for you now. Please call<SCRIPT language=Javascript><!--ename = "info"eserver = "guitar-emporium.com"document.write("");document.write(" or email");document.write("");;//--></SCRIPT> us for information.

Nice! Every PRS is incredible. Even the ones that aren't as exotic as the dragon pictured above still have incredible detail on the inlays and run between $3,000 - $5,000.

I know a guy who has something like six or eight PRS's.
