Any Dentist around here?

Cleverly disguised as a responsible adult!
I got a bad tooth ache over the weekend and noticed that I have a cavity in one of my front teeth. So today I called my dentist for an apponitment and he's on vacation all week and the earliest I could get into the office would be Thursday the 12th.

Is this normal practice and could the damage to my teeth get significantly worse in the next week and a half to make me consider going to another dentist?

I wouldn't think much significant damage could be done in a week and a half. Then again, I'm no dentist.

Go down to the corner and buy some cocaine. Touch your tongue with your finger, put finger in sack of coke and rub residue on tooth. In 5 minutes, you wont be able to feel your face, nevermind the tooth.
