Minus the roughing the kicker followed by the uppercut by Heyward, the defense DID stop them until the point that the game was officially out of reach. So pretty much take away the 2 fouls back to back and the game may have had a different second half ring to it. I throw out those last two drives because I felt as if neither team cared so... The first drive of the second half was the only score that they had and a free pass on 4th and 23 and a personal foul preceding a 2 and 8 from the 45 or so put the ball 1st and 10 around the 30 and after that score the defense did their job. The second quarter had alot to do with being tired and really good field position on a few drives for LSU(blocked fg, picks by boeckman) , but you should still make stops and hold em to fgs.
