Buckeyes are best
How about no - he's a Buckeye legacy, he has the physical tools and he has the right attitude. Offer him now.
Plus he's got two football-loving younger brothers coming up behind him!

This here. I think it's just a matter of time to his being offered and immediately/quickly pulling the trigger. How about no - he's a Buckeye legacy, he has the physical tools and he has the right attitude. Offer him now.
Who, the ones that just steamrolled the first NC playoffs? Those guys?Trust the coaches?
Uh, as far as we know the staff hasn't written Junior off...do not be surprised to see an offer down the road.It tells you all you need to know about Buckeye Nation's respect for Antoine Winfield when the possibility of having his clone trumps the judgement of the best coaching staff in college football.

You made seem everyone was questioning the staff's judgment...I don't think they are. As for why there's no offer, I think it's more the staff taking it's time rather than them not having him higher than some other prospects. Meyer appreciates the legacy connection, especially with someone the caliber of Winfield Sr.I'm not saying they have or will write him off.
They haven't offered yet and more than just a few fans seem to be asking "What's the hold up?" My point was that it's interesting that Buckeye fans are willing to go out on just about any limb with this coaching staff, just not if it involves betting against Antoine Winfield.

This.I do trust the coaches. For me, at least, saying/pleading/hoping they offer him sooner rather than later is more out of loyalty to what his father was/is and to add what appears to be a young man with his head screwed on straight. There was no judgement on the coaching staff either implied or otherwise.

Chris Spielman just said Antoine Winfield was best defensive player ever at @OhioStAthletics and best tackler he ever saw play anywhere
It's like Secretariat being out for stud.. and his DNA is worth gold.. just to have a piece of it
He may have "just" said it, as in the context of it being within a few seconds of Catalana making the tweet, but yeah, you're right, it's not the first time Spielman has said publicly that he felt Winfield was the best defensive player ever at Ohio State...H didn't "just" say that. He said it during a game he called during last season as well when discussing Bosa.
