Was doing a search on Kaufman to remember the name of his lounge-singer alias, Tony Clifton, and I came across this bit of breaking "news".

If a small group of zealous Andy Kaufman fans are to believed, the ?Taxi? star is alive and well and in the midst of his greatest joke ever. While most of the rest of the world believes the May 16, 1984, death certificate that states the comic actor succumbed to cancer, a grainy video has surfaced that purports to show Kaufman living under an assumed name in Albuquerque, N.M.

Is this for real? Someone really believes he's alive?

That's what I think is most funny about the story. I get it that people questioned his death for the first couple of years considering the pranks was known for pulling....but almost 30 years later??

Come on, those incredibly blurry pictures didn't convince you?

Too many people rewatching the Prestige and the whole "live the act both on and off the stage"

Kind of funny that theres still speculation to this day, however crazy it may be, that Kaufman is still alive out there. It goes along with those that believe Elvis never died. Maybe they're both hanging out together. Kaufman did a pretty mean Elvis impersonation.

Completely different thing. Elvis is my next door neighbor and he'd just like to be left alone with his Heisman trophy.

I wish I'd never told him I was a Buckeye fan. He won't shut up about that touchdown for Woody in the Rose Bowl or his friendship with Giovanni Strassini.
