BPCFFB League #2 League Champion 2008 & 2010
I've ran across this a ton. Have you ever noticed that when you see someone wearing scUM gear, they usually look like they have no buisness even watching sports. I'll notice people wearing a scUM sweatshirt out, and I'll want to say a comment like "pu$$Y"... but quickly realize, they'll probably have no idea what was going on. On the contrary...anywhere you see someone wearing tOSU gear, you can say OH or talk sports with easily. I've noticed this enough to post it... maybe it's just the people I see, maybe not.

Think about it STAR. If you were wearing a scUM sweatshirt would you WANT to talk about scUM sports, or even know what was going on with their programs for that matter.........

Weird just plain weird thinkng. Do you really think that any fans of any teams have no business talking sports?

I know exactly what you're saying. My two best friends are scUMmers. We play this game where you find the trashiest looking person wearing either scUM gear, or tOSU stuff. If the guy's wearing tOSU, they'll say, "He's one of yours", and I'll say the same if he's wearing scUM. But, the guys they point out are usually just obese and sweaty, maybe a mullet or two. The guys I always see have a hole ridden scum shirt on with like cut off jorts and a handle bar mustache, complete with broke down trucker hat and flip flops.

I rarely see people sporting scUM stuff anymore. When I first moved to CBus I could always count on seeing a few but now they're not existent. I think it's been 2 years since I've seen anyone rocking their gear.

I see them where I work (Dublin). I'll always try to talk sports if I see someone with sports attire, but I've found that most of the scUM fans I've talked with are more interested in bashing Ohio State. I had one guy tell me "no wonder we beat up on you guys, get an education." That was after I told him I didn't know if there was a bookstore in Dublin. "0-4" shut him up fairly quickly.

I'm not trying to stereotype.. it's just what I've found from my experiences. I'll talk sports with anyone. But scUM fans have made it difficult. :tongue2:

EDIT: I did see a guy wearing a scUM sweatshirt and a neon green fanny pack, by the way.

It's great in Atlanta. Most of the time the only scUM gear I see is worn by bums or thug-life-type losers.

I guess I don't see the same things that you do. Most sports fans have no fucking idea what they're talking about, and I can't stand talking to most of them. Regardless of what team gear they're wearing. That's why I came to BP and stuck around. Your average BP poster is not your average idiot sports fan.

scUM gear dried fast among the non-poor as soon as they started losing to OSU. I know this OSU country but when I first moved to CBus in 99 I saw a lot more scUM among people. My neighbor in Dayton got his MD from there and his Michigan flag has been notably absent the past couple years.
