Alright LSU fans, what do you think of us?

I think your team is slightly overrated because the B10 is down this year. Like it or not your schedule was padded. With that said I also believe that you are good enough to compete with LSU ,if you guys dont give up when the Tigers start laying lumber. (like you did against UF).
Also, You may travel well but please do not even think your numbers will be close to The LSU faithful. If you bring 150,000 to sit outside the stadium they will still be out numbered at least 3 to 1. Good Luck

We won't know really whose schedule was padded until after the Bowl season. I don't remember that great team you guys beat this year...who was it, again?

Nobody gave up against Florida. They simply didn't execute and didn't play with the same intensity as the rest of the season. tOSU didn't elevate their game when Florida didn't fold after the initial score, but they hardly gave up.

Also, who the hell cares if we're outnumbered outside the stadium? If it's better than 5:4 inside I'll be surprised.

I thought we were similar to VT at the beginning of the year. As the year went on I noted the differences

1) Our OLine is better
2) We can pressure a pocket QB without blitzing
3) Our QB is starting his first year and plays better than their more experienced QB
4) We can actually run the ball.
5) Tressel is a much better playcaller.

Believe there was some extra padding in this schedule as well.

Watching some youTube of your team. In SEC terms based on what I saw I would rate you at the same level as Kentucky, Auburn, or Tenn. Defiantly the top half of the SEC. It seems you guys play more like Tenn than any other team in the SEC. There were some comparisons to VATECH on the radio in BR today, but you guys are way more talented than those guys. I would say that Wells is not the best running back we have faced this year that honor goes to McFadden.
You just compared us to 9-4, 8-4 and 7-5 teams. WTF?
Seriously, the SEC is not that good. You may be in the better conference this year, but if you think tOSU would go 3-5 in the SEC like Kentucky you are on something. The top half of the SEC? Thanks for the compliment :(.
Also, VaTech is way more talented than the 3 teams you just named, so what gives?
That's just because you won't face Wells this year :wink2:

Forget those records, I was just talking types of players that LSU has faced. I think you are more like Tenn than any other team we have played this year.

VaTech could not beat Auburn or Kentucky, maybe Tenn.

You know, I want to respond to this and say some witty remark. But you're right, we were supposed to be rebuilding this year, we were supposed to be third in the big10, lose to Michigan and Wisconsin and maybe another team.

We aren't good enough to compete with LSU, you're right, they will put a few touchdowns on us and we'll just give up, odds are, there will be like 35 buckeye fans there and they will all leave, so there's no point in playing the game, right?

We won our conference, unlike Georgia.
We didn't lose when we were a 40 point favorite like USC.
We didn't get blown off the field like Va-Tech.
We didn't lose the last week of the season.

So, say what you want about us, everyone said Florida schedule was padded last year and that Michigan was the second best team in the country, but what happened? I hate that it did happen, but it happened.

Hell, I would figure LSU fans, more than anyone, would understand where we stand, you guys have a whole conference who thinks USC won a National Title when you did, they called you over-rated and robbed you, not to bring up old shit but that's how the Pac-10 sees it (I know, I live in Pac-10 country)

So far, I have seen a lot of good conversation, I have seen a lot of great people from New Orleans that have really impressed me, it's been really nice, but I don't see the need to make snide comments, the game is a month away and there's plenty of places for people to talk smack without us there and have a good 'ole time.

For now, let's keep it fun.

USC is as close to Bama than they care to admit. Bama will claim a national championship if Lester's Tire and Car Care Poll votes them #1.

LOL.....All I can say is that you guys asked for THEIR opinions of your team. I know you didn't expect them to say that they thought you would dominate the SEC like you did the Big 10, did you?

Personally, I think a lot of LSU fans are uninformed about Ohio St., and they use the National Championship from last year as their barometer for your team. I also believe that they'll be in for a rude awakening on Jan. 7th. Ohio St. is a hell of a team. A team that lines up, puts a helmet on a helmet, and plays a very physical football game with outstanding athletes. Then add in the winning tradition that Ohio St. has, the fact that these players don't expect to lose, ever, and it's just another intangible I would put in Ohio States favor. It's just too bad they were all born north of the Mason Dixon line, and therefore too slow to compete with their lightning fast, southern counterparts. .........J/K.

But seriously, to say that I'd be more than suprised if LSU runs away with a victory in this one would be more than an understatement. I expect a hard fought, close game......like most of LSU's games this season.

 and GEAUX TIGERS!!!
